We collect information you provide when creating your account: name, email, birthdate, location, playing preferences, and profile photo. For coaches, we also collect coaching credentials, rates, and achievements.
We use your information to: operate and improve the platform; match trainees with coaches; display your profile to other users; send account-related emails; and ensure platform security.
Your profile information is visible to other ShuttleMatch users. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers (hosting, email delivery) as necessary to operate the platform.
For trainees under 18, we collect parent or guardian contact information. Guardian data is automatically removed when the trainee turns 18.
Messages between users are stored on our servers. We do not read your messages except as necessary to investigate reports of abuse or enforce our Terms of Service.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure hosting, and row-level security policies. However, no system is 100% secure.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our systems.
You have the right to: access your personal data through your profile; correct inaccurate data through the edit profile page; delete your account and all associated data; and request information about how your data is used.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
